COURSE OBJECTIVES
• to increase participants’ self-awareness and confidence in their day-to-day role
• to be able to manage their work-lives competent and take pride and ownership in work
• to set and trace a path towards achieving their personal and work goals
• to have a good morale, a focused work-life and work towards organizational productivity
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The objectives of Self-esteem Skills training are to enable the participant to:
• learn techniques for building self-esteem that help them improve their work performance
• recognize how self-esteem can help them improve their work performance
• perform real world exercises that will incrementally build self-esteem and recognize and avoid self-destructive behavior
The objectives of Motivation and Goal-setting Skills training are to enable the participant to:
• improve understanding of internal and external motivation as it relates to the work environment
• define what works for him/her in motivating for success
• internalize techniques for goal-setting to improve attitude and work performance
• increase productivity and thereby enhance probability for job stability and success
• improve the bottom line of the organization through enhanced individual motivation
The objectives of personal and career development skills training are to enable the participant to:
• improve lifetime skills for getting and keeping a job
• learn techniques for daily living that will lead to lessened stress in the workplace
• understand the benefits and obligations of being employed
• learn to think ahead about what is required to meet employer rules and standards
• take charge of their own careers
• explore the meeting and practice of career development
• learn techniques for ongoing evaluation of career
• plan for employment future
