SMART (Self Management And Reconstructive Thinking) provides you with critical skills for continuous learning and innovation in the knowledge age.
1. Self Development Course I

To enhance your ability to learn, think and apply new knowledge and skills, SMART program employs three key strategies.
• Experiential learning activities that help you learn by doing and discovery. You are encouraged to seek out new knowledge and skills for better life or work performance.
• Reflective teaching, which encourages you to analyze, synthesize and evaluate situations, issues and alternatives. This challenges you to think creatively, examine alternatives in the workplace or personal life and use this new knowledge and skills to innovate.
• Functional context that ensures program content is relevant to you. You can immediately integrate what you learn and apply it.
On successfully completing this SMART program, you will receive a Certificate in Self-Management And Reconstructive Thinking from Happy Angels Foundation.

• to get to know the real “you”
• to begin to think about your thinking
• to understand your attitude towards work and personal life
• to monitor self behavior or image of yourself you display to others in public

The objectives of Knowing Yourself Skills training are to enable the participant to:
• know themselves better
• learn techniques for developing good mental health
• develop essential traits or characteristics of mind
• monitor the egocentrism in their thought and life

The objectives of Positive Thinking Skills training are to enable the participant to:
• develop positive thought
• keep indulging in honest and critical self-evaluation
• accept reality and challenges
• develop confidence in themselves and their abilities
• respect the abilities of others and accept other as they are
• welcome and appreciate healthy criticism
• appreciate their physical being
• learn to accept their mistake

The objectives of Self-esteem Skills training are to enable the participant to:
• learn techniques for building self-esteem that help them improve their work performance
• recognize how self-esteem can help them improve their work performance
• perform real world exercises that will incrementally build self-esteem and recognize and avoid self-destructive behavior
The objectives of Motivation and Goal-setting Skills training are to enable the participant to:
• improve understanding of internal and external motivation as it relates to the work environment
• define what works for him/her in motivating for success
• internalize techniques for goal-setting to improve attitude and work performance
• increase productivity and thereby enhance probability for job stability and success
• improve the bottom line of the organization through enhanced individual motivation
The objectives of personal and career development skills training are to enable the participant to:
• improve lifetime skills for getting and keeping a job
• learn techniques for daily living that will lead to lessened stress in the workplace
• understand the benefits and obligations of being employed

• to equip participants with the various action strategies to reach out to followers depending on work
preferences and interaction styles.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The objectives of Organizational Effectiveness Skills training are to enable the participant to:
• understand explicit and implicit organizational norms, structures, and codes and how they shape the work environment
• improve skills and abilities to function in these environments in an effective and job-enhancing manner
• understand how one is perceived by others (peers and supervisors) in a way that helps or hinders his or her organizational effectiveness
• Understand how personal and professional values, choices and behaviors affect their effectiveness in an organization
The objectives of Leadership Skills training are to enable the participant to:
• learn from the general literature of leadership skills theory
• develop a list of generally acceptable characteristics of what makes a good leader
• develop a consensus on the qualities necessary to succeed in a shared leadership environment
• explore leadership strengths and expand strengths in shared leadership skills
• strengthen weaknesses and expand strengths in shared leadership skills
• better understand the dynamics of shared leadership through the vehicle of mini-exercises
